Gettin’ Honest
We want to acknowledge that the way in which we can currently offer our outdoor classes is not 100% in line with our mission of accessibility. We are following state guidelines and are doing our best to keep each and every one of us as safe as we can. We thank you for being patient with us while we navigate this new class routine and welcome your feedback in ways we can be more accessible. We want you to practice with us and will do our best to make that happen!
Barriers we are aware of:
Not having your own mat: If you need one, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to bring one you can use for practice or continually borrow at this time. Should you borrow one, we will sanitize it after class.
Not having your own props: At this time we aren’t able to provide props for outdoor classes due to cleaning and administrative restrictions. If you'd like props, we encourage you to get creative with the props you bring!
We’re in the sun: A handful of people cannot be in the sun for a prolonged period of time. We understand this and will do our best to pick areas for class that have both sun and shade. Additionally, you are welcome to bring a sun umbrella with you!
Having to pre-register: This assumes access to a computer or phone and the ability to create a MindBody profile. It also assumes the ability to pay online with a credit card. While pre-registration is required at this time, please contact us to reserve a spot in class if signing up online for these reasons doesn’t work for you. On an individual basis, we can also set up a way for you to pay with cash or check. Due to our administrative capacity, please leave this option available for those who can truly benefit.
Parking access: We have tried to pick spots in the parks that are located by ramps and accessible parking. We know that this is not ideal for many. Should you require assistance from your vehicle to your mat, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you on an individual basis.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What are my options for paying for an outdoor class?
When taking a class, workshop, series, etc. at Sangha Studio, there are various ways to donate. Most outdoor classes are included in our $60 and above Sustaining and Pay-It-Forward Memberships. For non members, we suggest a donation of $10-$15 per class. For those that could benefit from financial assistance, please apply for our Member Scholarship here.
WHAT DOES BECOMING A “SUSTAINING MEMBER” MEAN?
Becoming a Sustaining Member means unlimited monthly classes at all locations, mat storage if desired at either our North or Pine locations, and discounts on specialty classes, workshops and retail. Memberships are the bread and butter of our studio, allowing us to bring yoga into the community. For more about becoming a Sustaining Member, visit ourSustaining Membership page.
DO I NEED TO PRE-REGISTER FOR Outdoor CLASSes?
For outdoor classes, you will need to pre-register as we will need contact information for everyone attending class so we can comply with COVID-19 guidelines from the state. You can pre-register using the class schedule on this page or by downloading the MindBody app here.

What should i wear?
Comfortable clothing that you can move in! Some people wear pants, some wear shorts. Some wear shirts, some don’t. All we ask is that your private regions remain fully covered to the level of an average bathing suit. For outdoor classes specifically, you will also want your mat, sunscreen, bug spray and possibly a towel. Masks are required when not on your mat during practice.
