15-Hour Restorative Training
with Sarah Diedrick January 21-22, 2023 | 10AM-4PM "Restorative yoga is the use of props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease, to facilitate health and relaxation.” - Judith Hanson Lasater Restorative yoga teaches us how to rest deeply and completely. This practice is simple yet profound because it nourishes and replenishes the foundation of our wellbeing - the nervous system. In this training, you’ll be the student of the practice first and foremost, experiencing what it feels like to rest, release layers of stress, and create a deeper sense of opening. From this embodied place, you'll then learn how to teach the practice to others. Whether you want to expand your personal practice, share this with loved ones, or add a new skill to your teaching style, this training will give you the tools to integrate this practice into your life how you please. You do not need to be a certified yoga teacher to attend this training. Restorative yoga is a welcomed gift in a culture of constant rush and productivity. This is why it feels like just as rewarding to teach Restorative yoga as it is to take it - because we are creating a context for people to rediscover their ability to heal themselves through rest. Sarah is excited to share this practice with you and see how it benefits many different areas of your life! |
About Sarah Diedrick
Sarah Diedrick attended a Restorative yoga training with Judith Hanson Lasater in 2015 and it changed her life. She discovered that when she allowed herself to truly rest, there was enough space and nourishment for her calm, clarity, and creativity to flourish. She has been teaching Restorative yoga ever since. Throughout her 7 years of teaching, Sarah has continued to witness how the practice assists - and sometimes accelerates - emotional and physical healing. Sarah teaches Restorative yoga the way it was intended to be taught: with a lot of props, support, and attention to detail. She teaches private Restorative yoga sessions, hosts trainings, and tries to weave Restorative into as many of her offerings as she can. |
