Claire pascalClaire Pascal (she/her) is a cis, white lesbian witch who lives in Essex, Vermont with her wife and son. She began her own personal yoga practice right here at Sangha Studio in 2017 in search of community after moving to Vermont. From there, she began volunteering for Sangha in 2018, then consulting in 2019, and finally joining the administrative team as Marketing Director in 2020. She now helps run the studio with Caitlin.
She graduated from Sangha Studio's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in June 2022 and her own personal yoga practice focuses on the intersection of social justice and empowered movement. With an emphasis on spirituality and the energetic body, Claire hopes to infuse everyday magick into her classes. Drawing from all eight limbs of this practice, Claire believes that yoga is a spiritual tool we can use to not only fill our own cups, but to also find resilience to step into our power as change makers and change agents living within deeply broken systems. She hopes that students leave her classes feeling a deep sense of community and a curiosity around how they take up space and show up for themselves and for others. |
Caitlin Pascucci, E-RYT 500Caitlin (she/her) began consistently practicing yoga in 2011 at a free class in a community space. It was this unconventional beginning that has led to an unconventional path of teaching and studio management.
In 2012 Caitlin pursued her first yoga certification at Fluid Yoga with Kevan Gale (located at Stil Studio in Dedham, MA). She began teaching donation-based classes regularly and in 2014 she founded Sangha Studio, Vermont’s first and only nonprofit, donation-based yoga studio. As a teacher and Executive Director at Sangha Studio, she prides herself in supporting the creativity of teachers and students and believes in the power of community and collaboration. During her classes, Caitlin hopes to deepen each student’s individual practice through hands-on adjustments and assists, precise alignment cues, and creative sequencing. Her classes encourage students to get to know each other, challenge their way of thinking, cultivate awareness of the breath/body connection, and build strength. |
