African Turquoise Mala
This African turquoise mala was made by our teacher Heather Pearson & features a magenta Sari tassel & protective eye pendant. The energy of turquoise is believed to initiate the pathway to a clear focused mind. The term ‘mala’ is a Sanskrit word for “meditation garland.” Originally, mala beads were used for a special style of meditation called Japa, which means, “to recite.” Find out more about the the history of malas here.

- 108 6mm African turquoise beads
- 31 inches in length
- Can be worn around the neck or wrapped around the wrist
- Traditionally used to keep count as you recite a mantra during meditation
