Sangha Studio’s yoga service and outreach efforts include working with the following organizations:

We offer LoveYourBrain friendly classes on our weekly drop-in schedule. These accessible classes are open to people living with traumatic brain injury as a discounted rate. Check our Class Schedule for details.

bodhi & mind yoga

bodhi & mind yoga offers physical, mental, and emotional support to women in every stage of breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Each program participant, or bodhi, is paired with a local yoga instructor who commits to provide one-on-one yoga and meditation practice for one hour each week over eight-week sessions, free of charge. Sangha Studio hosts these classes free of charge to women in our community.

Burlington Kids Afterschool

Sangha Studio has partnered with Burlington Kids Afterschool to host various afterschool programs across the city. We host programs at Edmunds Elementary School, Edmunds Middle School, Champlain Elementary School, and are continually growing. Afterschool programs run for 9-10 week sessions and incorporate aspects of mindfulness and a physical yoga practice.

Pine Forest Children's Center

Sangha Studio holds weekly classes at Pine Forest Children's Center for 0-5 year olds. In these classes there is a mix of yoga dance, yoga, breathing, and mindfulness.

Yoga for Veterans

Sangha Studio hosts rotating free, 10-week yoga series on-site at the local Veteran's Affairs office for local veterans. These classes belend meditation and asana.

I appreciate Sangha and Catherine (yoga teacher) donating their time to help our veterans. I find a lot more peace doing yoga and I can't always afford it. This is a wonderful thing. - Josiah Russell, participant
