Jess was first introduced to yoga as a form of exercise. She quickly realized that there was SO much more to the practice than the physical asanas. Yoga allowed her to connect the body, mind, and spirit like never before and this practice soon supported her in physical and emotional healing.
Jess wanted to share this incredible practice with others, so she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at UVM in 2016. She believes that all yoga starts with the breath, and encourages her students in her alignment based classes to utilize breath as their foundation, first.
Outside of the studio she is a special educator, hiker, and avid reader.
