Charlotte’s classes are open to all levels. She teaches a grounded flow, that emphasizes breath and meditative movement. Her classes give students a safe place to embody all parts of themselves, both the discomfort and the ease, with the knowing that as we empower ourselves we empower each other.
Charlotte found yoga in 2012, while in College in Colorado. Since the beginning, yoga has been the biggest catalyst for change in her life. Yoga has been the place where she has learned to sit with discomfort and be in relationship with herself and the world. Learning how to be in relationship with, rather than react from, has been one of the greatest healing tools she has received through yoga.
The support Charlotte received through yoga, gave her the courage to commit to sobriety in 2016 joining the 12 step program, where she has recovered from alcohol, substances, and an eating disorder. Yoga and the 12 steps have saved her life, and both compliment each other, and she is grateful for the platform Y12SR brings to connect the two.
