Yoga and dance have been a vital part of my creative process. I love to be in my body, and to guide others on their mats in exploring their own yoga and movement journey.
My classes combine breath, asanas, exploration of the subtle body, chakras and meditation. We focus on the ease and flow within each pose, and explore how breath and sensation can guide our practice. Self-reflection and finding one’s individual alignment within a yoga pose is a vital part of the process. And tapping into Joy!
I’ve trained and danced in Vermont, Connecticut and New York City. Studied the chakras and subtle body systems with Anodea Judith and Alanna Kaivalya. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with Will Duprey of Hathavidya Yoga, and an additional cancer-informed teacher training with bodhi & mind yoga. I’m a certified “Let Your Yoga Dance,” instructor.
