Chair Yoga

Chair yoga aims to bring the yoga practice to those with visible mobility issues, non-visible injuries, central nervous system diseases, degenerative diseases, chronic pain, along with physical, mental, emotional and behavioral challenges.
These classes host all the elements of a traditional flow class – breathing exercises (Pranayama), yoga poses (Asana), and an ending relaxation (Savasana) – often in a chair, allowing for personalized modifications, and use of various props.Discover how inward awareness, alignment adjustments, and use of props allows you to open the subtle body and to strengthen the body-mind connection.

As part of Sangha’s effort to bring more of their Service Programs into the studio, these classes are free to participants.
